Tristan Roake and Andre Fernandez, better known as Truth are a dubstep production duo from Christchurch, New Zealand. They first rose to prominence in 2008 when Mala of Digital Mystikz signed their debut single The Fatman / Stolen Children for his Deep Medi Musik label. BASSIC continues it’s biggest month to date. Following up just one week after Silkie, with one of the dubstep world’s founding fathers. Mala (DMZ, Deep Medi), as half of the legendary dubstep duo Digital Mysticz is as close to dubstep’s roots as they come, operating under the label DMZ. DMZ put on what has been called one of the most influential nights of all time under the same name which began as far back as 2004 in central London. We are graced with his presence this month for a rare appearance within the US, even rarer in the northeast.
