This track is a melodic and glitchy dubstep remix of The Hole Punch Generation, courtesy of Audiobulb Records. All the video timelapses were captured by Zebbler while touring the US through 2011. This is a very special release for us today, especially for Zebbler who is celebrating his 5th anniversary of the Boston mooninite incident.

Burnkane does not produce music like you or I.
From repurposing dad’s electronics for noise making in his teens; to working with a warehouse community/studio back home in Scotland; and now using programming languages such as Max/MSP, PureData and Supercollider to design audio manipulation software, Burnkane has developed an audibly unique approach. With releases on Planet Mu and Electrocircle, Future Steps marks Burnkane’s third release.
His alias, Beatwife, has been making Acid Jungle for years, with releases on a variety of labels, including Pixelord’s Hyperboloid imprint and appearing alongside Core greats such as Xanopticon, Duran Duran Duran and more. The A-Side of this release, Boathouse, is a creepy-seductive siren song with lush atmospherics and serious sub bass to rattle your pelvis.

This release features a thick 4×4/stepper relick by Robot Koch of Jahcoozi infamy, and an 808 driven Juke mix by Sonkin of the Seclusias camp. The B-Side is the embodiment of future funk, paired down to the raw basics: crunchy bass, distorted claps and wah guitar plucks with the freshness.
