Chrissy Murderbot on UnheardUv

“Chris Shively aka Murderbot aka Chrissy Murderbot — DJ, producer, label owner, Chicago resident and rave encylopedia. He came to many people’s attention for his tearing jungle productions on Bananas NYC, Mashit and Dead Homies around 2005, but has since capitalized on his undying love for—and ridiculously detailed knowledge of—all things rave. Never one to pigeonhole himself, Murderbot defines his style as ‘juke-rave-jungle-disco-tropical-hi-NRG-gangsta-dancehall-ghetto-garage-core’, and it’s within these constraints he has carved himself a status as one of dance music’s most exciting DJs and producers. “
