Recently, J Rabbit’s entry the B Rich ‘We Ball Harder’ remix contest caught our attention for challenging the dubstep/drum’n'bass divide. Being aware that sounds we call grime in dubstep descend from dnb, more of a connection is apparent in work like this. Notice the dubstep half time snare combined double time hi hat, lending a frantic and dancy feel while a calm snare and dancehall leads preserve a dubstep element.
